Study shows gun violence rates highest in conflict and crime-affected nations
A recent analysis based on data from the Small Arms Survey highlights the countries with the highest rates of gun violence globally. Measured in firearm-related deaths per 100,000 people, Afghanistan tops the list with a rate of 56.8. Closely following is Honduras (32.7), Yemen (30.5), Venezuela (29.3), Mexico (22.4), Colombia (21.1), Brazil (18.7), Syria (17.9), Guatemala (15.3), and Ecuador (11.8).
